'Learning Pals'

Following on from the ‘buddies’ program in 2014, the grade 6’s have been partnered with grade 1 ‘learning pals’ for 2015. These 'Learning Pals' are beneficial for both year levels and are different from the ‘buddy’ that they worked with the year before. 

The grade 6’s are able to practise their reading, speaking and listening skills and lead their learning pals through educational tasks. The grade 1’s also practise their reading and listening skills and are now familiar with two older students in the yard from grade 6. This has already proved to be valuable for school yard issues.

The ‘Learning Pals’ initiative has made a fantastic start and is enjoyed thoroughly by students from both year levels.
